Developmental Editing Service for Fiction Writers
Leaflet Writers helps fiction authors strengthen story structure so they can write compelling novels that resonate with readers.

Meet Christa Vande Vegte
I write under the pen name Eema Stories, which is really just a fancy way of saying that I live inside my own head, exploring magical realms.
If I look like I'm spacing out into the distance at times, don’t mind me; I’m probably just interviewing a leaf about her life goals or coming up with a new clue for my detective horse to find. For as far back as I can remember, I have always been inventing fun, quirky characters for kids, the kind they will remember forever.

While my heart lives in middle-grade fiction, my love for story structure led me to train as a Fictionary StoryCoach Editor. It’s giving me the tools to work across many genres, essentially becoming, what would you say, a professional story-whisperer of some kind. It turns out that when you spend enough time eavesdropping on imaginary characters, you begin to learn how to see the secret gaps and hidden strengths in any manuscript.
As the brainchild behind Leaflet Writers, I am building toward offering developmental editing services to help other authors build a firm foundation for their stories. My goal is to help your characters and worlds come to life and feel so real that readers can't help but fall for them.
