I have rewritten and edited this manuscript multiple times since the first rough draft was completed on July 26, 2019.
Finally, I realize that I can only rewrite and edit it so many times and now need a professional to sharpen it up; I am ready to find my future editor-agent to help me along with my first book and the many more I have in the works. Including a second book in the series "The Adventures of Leaf Boy".
As a fiction writer and I write "The End," it is never the end. My mind keeps tossing about and turning over new ideas. What if my character grows a handlebar mustache and a long prehensile tail? Ooh, what if the realm gets swallowed up by a colossal salamander? My "what-if" ideas become never-ending! Then I start changing things and have to go back and make sure it makes sense and aligns with the story.
This is why I am so adamant about finding my future editor-agent; I cannot wait to find him or her, to help me finish my first book and push me along on my new projects. Finding that perfect editor to fix my grammatical errors will be fantastic; the ideas come easy, but writing in a fashion that makes sense can sometimes get a bit laborious. When I get wrapped up in punctuation and overthinking about proper grammar, my creativity level starts to fade.
