Write on Fire!

My fingers are typing away, and the words appear on my screen like magic! It may be a mess, but the grammar errors and editing can be made later.

That is what it feels like to write on fire. This can happen for 10 minutes, 30 minutes at a time, or even for hours on end. Then, when done, I feel like I truly accomplished something.

I wish I always felt like this, accomplished, doing something worth my while, but I tend to get sidetracked with the everyday duties of life.

I vow from this day on to write at least 30 minutes a day, Monday-Friday, even if it is about a white painted chair, a dog with no hair, a bunny with horns growing out of its body everywhere, just plain anything that comes to mind. This, in turn, keeps my creativity moving to create book two of "Leaf Boy" or my next big story idea.

Writing on fire adds creative kindling to keep the fire from being snuffed out.
